hospitalization
Most
hospital procedures are done on an outpatient basis, as patients
recover more quickly in a familiar home environment. Patients
that undergo hospital procedures will be discharged after
they become alert and comfortable.
All
hospitalized patients should be current on their vaccines
for rabies and distemper viruses. Unvaccinated patients will
receive immunizations upon admission to the hospital.

During office
hours a nurse practitioner or veterinary technician is available
to answer questions. Any concerns that require consultation
with a doctor will be answered as soon as the doctor is available.
After hours a doctor is on call to respond in the event of
any emergency.
fees and payment
Payment
in full is due at the time services are performed.
A deposit is required at the time of hospitalization for medical
or surgical treatment.
Estimates
for medical and surgical procedures are available upon request.
Acceptable
forms of payment include:
check, cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Financing
of fees is available through CareCredit.
