Kelly	Meaghan	Lisa	Jose	Sandy

veterinary technician

Kelly Fagan has been with Brockton Animal Hospital for 8 years. She joined the practice part time while she was finishing her undergraduate degree, and continued on fulltime after graduation. As head technician Kelly oversees in-patient care, manages the technical staff, and supervises surgical setup and supply. Additionally, she provides direct care to the patients, and is responsible for admitting and releasing surgical and medical patients. Kelly has a particularly gentle and compassionate manner with patients under her care. Kelly is a Certified Veterinary Technician, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Bridgewater State College.

veterinary technician

Meaghan McConnell has been with the Brockton Animal Hospital for 4 years. Meaghan joined the hospital to work on the front desk, but her affinity for the pets quickly drew her to a position on the medical team. Meaghan's responsibilities include: preparing patients for surgery; treating medical patients; providing laboratory services; and admitting and releasing surgical and medical patients. She enjoys her interaction with both the clients and pets, and finds great rewards in assisting in the improved well being for her patients.

Lisa Melanson’s skills are utilized in both the front office and medical area of the hospital. She prepares patients for surgery; treats medical patients; provides laboratory services; and admits and releases surgical and medical patients. Additionally, she assists clients at the front desk. Lisa brings knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm to her work. Prior to joining Brockton Animal Hospital Lisa had experience both as a veterinary technician and a veterinary pharmacy technician. Lisa’s career has taken an interesting turn from her educational training. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Jose Jesus assists the technical staff of the hospital and acts as facilities manager. Jose’s calm demeanor and gentle approach is helpful in the care of pets, and his efficient approach assures that the hospital is always organized and supplied for any situation that may arise. Jose is currently a student at Bridgewater State College and plans to continue his education to become a veterinarian.

sandy tanen,
hospital administrator

Sandy Tanen has been at Brockton Animal Hospital for 11 years. As hospital administrator she manages all non-medical aspects of the hospital including client relations, marketing, finance and personnel management. In a prior life Sandy was a Wall Street investment banker. She finds working at the hospital more rewarding as success is measured by the health of the patients and satisfaction of the clients, rather than strictly financial gain. Sandy holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
