hospitalization
Most hospital procedures are done on an outpatient basis, as patients recover more comfortably in a familiar home environment. Patients that undergo hospital procedures will be discharged after they become alert and comfortable.
All hospitalized patients should be current on their vaccines for rabies and distemper viruses. Unvaccinated patients will receive immunizations upon admission to the hospital.
